The Department of Management Studies (DoMS) at IIT Madras (IIT-M) will host the 8th Pan-IIT International Conference on Financial Markets and Corporate Finance (ICFMCF 2026) from July 3 to July 5, bringing together leading academicians, policymakers, regulators and industry experts to deliberate on emerging trends in finance and technology. IIT-M Director V. Kamakoti will inaugurate the conference. The keynote speakers include Avanidhar Subrahmanyam of UCLA Anderson School of Management and Professor Tarun Ramadorai of Imperial College London. The three-day event will feature lectures, paper and poster presentations, panel discussions, workshops and editor interactions. The sessions will focus on household finance, artificial intelligence in fintech, carbon markets, commodity trading and market surveillance. A workshop on Natural Language Processing for finance research will also be conducted by IIT-M professor Arun Ayyar, besides discussions involving senior officials from SEBI, RBI and Indian Bank.
